Results for the recruitment of 1105 Clerks for the Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) have been announced. Considering these results, PI would be held up for the eligible candidates at the specified centers.
The recruitment process of OBC consisted of a written examination that was conducted at various centers in several cities, on 9th Jan 2011. The exam consisted of objective type questions for 200 marks and descriptive type questions for 60 marks. Apart from the negative marking for each wrong answer, the candidates were expected to get a least of 40 percent to qualify for further sessions.

Like the vacancies, which were advertised state wise, the results are also released in the same manner; with more than 8800 candidates selected across al the states. The list consisting of the selected candidate’s roll number, state and category can be downloaded from the bank’s site here.
Although the dates for the Personal Interviews are not disclosed yet by the Oriental Bank, they are expected to be held by the last week of month of June, 2011. Call letters will be sent to the candidates in any case and thus it is not a matter of worry.
